Genki Gear is a small independent UK based T-shirt Company now in our fifth year of trading and specialise in producing original designs based on a wide variety of inspirations.Partner and Artist Phil English produces 95% of the artwork with the other designs coming from exclusive work done by Artists from the worlds of Uk Manga and Comics such as Al Davison of The Astral Gypsy.We started the company with a number of aims: to provide great original t-shirts that stand alone, so that anime/sci-fi geeks like ourselves could wear without them having to explain which movie/comic/game the design/character came from (the result of many a dress down day conversation at my work) and to ensure we covered women’s fitted tees in our ranges (again from personal experience an area I felt was neglected).The ranges cover Japanese culture, Anime, gaming and science fiction as influences but all done with the unique sense of humour which is our trademark.All our t-shirts are silkscreen printed and then heatsealed to ensure that they are durable and have a smooth rather than clunky feel and all of our printing is done in the UK and our t-shirts are available across both men’s and women’s styles plus hoodies, kids tees and a range of mugs and gifts.
Cutethulhu is inspired by H.P.Lovecrafts iconic 1920's gothic horror literature but we (Genki Gear) have given his creation Cuthulhu a humorous and cuddly twist.
