Welcome to a brand new shirt of the week. Geek Shirts HQ will highlight one design in particular, which is one of the favorites here at GSHQ. It then goes on to take on legendary status, with lots of love in the t shirt community!
I don't even like to refer to them as tees, shirts or t shirts but wearable art. But somehow wearable art of the week does not have the same ring to it.
Are you a fan of fifties science fiction? Do You love great design?
If you answered yes to both the questions above, this has got to be the t shirt for you.
This weeks design has been created by a designer, whose tees I think I have many of. I am talking about Glen Brogan.
The Sattelite Of Love Tee has been inspired by a great tv series from the late eighties/early nineties Mystery Science Theatre 3000. Which in turn was inspired by fifties science fiction.
The official tag line for this tee is 'He'll try and keep his sanity with the help of his robot friends'
If I was trapped with robots on a space station, I think I would end up with metal envy!
I don't know if I cope with only robots as company, it really depends on the robots. Some are just annoying and some are really cool. I think if I was with someone like CP3O, that maybe could work!
Could you survive with only robots as company?
The tee is a 10.2 ounce tee and 100% cotton, it's tapered at neck and shoulders for an excellent fit. it is also preshrunk so there wont be any problems if you are not very good at washing and drying your tees.
I really like this t shirt, it is a great design and love the lines and level of detail in the artwork as well.
I featured it in my news section a few weeks ago when it was just released. I loved it so much I had to feature it as a shirt of the week.
It is currently the most popular tee over at Splitreason. Get yours now before it sells out.
