Welcome to a Geek Shirts HQ special.
Today we welcome back Matt from Venus Fallen, as he has just released a major new collection.
For the past five months Matt has been working hard on his new fall collection and to be honest judging by some of the feedback so far, it’s been worth the wait.
Let me get Matt to tell you more about his fall collection.
This particular Venus Fallen collection explores many different scientific themes ranging from evolution to "end of the world" parodies. My main goal with VF is having as much fun with my concepts as possible so that is why viewers will see a variety in artistic style. My main concern is to please not only science/space lovers, but to be aware of the subgroups within this common interest that enjoy particular styles of art. By offering something for everyone, I do believe each of VF's collections have a greater chance of success as well as bringing in new potential fans.Lastly, I'd just like to say that I don't have a favourite piece and never will because of three reasons: I enjoy every concept and always make the best out of the idea so I never wind up releasing something I'm questionable about, I respect each artist and their contribution to my brand, and I don't want any one piece to represent VF.All the pieces come together to create the collective mentality that the brand represents so I will continue to view my brand as being only as strong as the overall vision people get when viewing it in entirety. This fall collection brings 33 new items to the shop that I'm extremely proud of. I can't wait until the next one! Here are three pieces I'd like to highlight; each with some detail about what the design is about.
Transcend: As Moore’s law continues to prove itself true, the exponential growth of technology will soon become too fast to keep up with. What is the solution? Mankind will merge with technology to solve medical mysteries, enhance the brain’s ability to process information, and explore other worlds. The singularity is near. Cyborgs anyone?
Gravity: Dive deep inside the genius mind of this world famous astronomer, philosopher, and mathematician. Join Isaac on a mental odyssey through his childhood days of universal pondering. However, the freethinking that led to the discovery of gravity also revealed to him the unbalanced nature of mankind.
For Carl: Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere. That is a quote from one of Earth’s most wonderful minds that ever lived. This design aims to inspire humanity towards a path of space exploration, healthy scientific progression, and curiosity for what the entire universe has to offer.
We have given you a small taste of the new collection. Check out Venus Fallen's new fall collection, it is huge and I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
