Who are the people behind Zombie Response Authority? Can you start by giving some background about yourself? Where you are from? How did you get into selling t shirts?
ZRA started from the love of horror-genre movies, especially the old and recent zombie genre movies.
We have 3 founders on the brand (Kris, Chris and Rob) all located in Columbus, Ohio.
We actually have some background and success from prior brands, and just wanted to get a brand made for the love of zombies. We all have unique skills which help bring it all together 🙂

Who creates the designs?
Our head designer is Chris, with a lot of inspiration and ideas from Kris and Rob.We all work on the designs, but Chris is the design guru!
What process do you follow when designing a shirt?
First we need a good idea to run with. Then it's a sketch uploaded into Photoshop or Illustrator. Then it's design time, add the details, words and go from there.
How would you describe your design style?
We have a few different styles we want to use, we don't want to corner ourselves into a specific style because people like variety.
The first spring line was done in a more street wear style, but we have plans for a line with more gruesome zombie characters for the near future.

Where did you get the name Zombie Response Authority?
We got the idea to form a worldwide militia to fight the zombie apocalypse, so everyone could band together no matter how close they are. Our first line connected people by geographic locations.
We took prominent colours from each region to design shirts for Ohio, Chicago, Miami, LA, NY, Brooklyn and more to come. We even created Zombaby shirts to get the kids involved! Just a fun way to represent your region of the ZRA.
Can you tell me more the brand Zombie Response Authority?
ZRA is a fun brand. We love to post all things zombie/horror and looking for new people to help us expand as quickly as we can. We have plans for a summer and fall line that will go farther than just shirts.
You can find us at festivals and zombie-related events all over. We are also sponsoring the Zombie Walk Columbus in September, and the Ohio Zombie Run in October. So we will be popping up all over the midwest.
What makes Zombie Response Authority different from other Apparel Vendors? What is your USP?
ZRA puts a lot of thought and detail into our designs. We don't just slap something basic together, you're gonna get a high quality soft shirt (you can even sleep in) plus a high quality print! We don't do anything cheap, and we definitely like to give away freebies!

What’s coming next for Zombie Response Authority?
We want to keep you stylin', even post apocalypse. You can expect a new line each season, and expansion on our cities and states, and even other countries!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years both for yourselves and your business?
10 years is a long time, but you can bet we will still be protecting the good of man against the undead. We would love to have a full nationwide militia and be known around the world as a force to be reckoned with.
How much importance do you place on Facebook Twitter and similar sites when marketing your brand?
Social media is great and it gives us the ability to create an image for our brand. Between posting our apparel, and fan submitted pictures, we are also going to make you laugh and hopefully scare you a little.
People always enjoy the things we post, and we want to continue providing entertain and information for all, as a fun organisation to follow.

When getting your apparel printed what is the process that you prefer and why?
We like a nice breathable design and hand soft feel, so that is our main concern. If people love the way it feels inside and out, it may become their new favourite shirt!
What brands of apparel do you prefer to print on?
We prefer brands of high quality. Some brands we have used in the past are American Apparel, Bella Canvas, Next Level and Tultex.
What would a customer expect when ordering a product from you?
Expect a quick delivery, a nice hand-stamped package, and the best part: what's inside!
Most people are surprised at the quality, you'll definitely be smiling after you whip out your new gear, and you will get asked where you got the shirt. You more than likely will get some stickers or other #ZombieSwag in the package!
