Anelina Designs, An Octopus Lover And Cystic Fibrosis Warrior

This week we have a designer, who is a massive Whovian (if you don’t believe me just check out her designs!) does charity work, has a family to look after and in between all that she does a bit of designing as well!
I first came across this designer on Twitter, and after checking out her site, I loved the caricatures that she has created. I have even had a caricature created of my daughter, which you can see at the end of the interview.

Today we have a designer that that has a style has a mixture of Geek/pop culture references and an ecological message in his designs.
Exactly who is the man behind Yanmos Designs? He was found in the caves on the infamous Mount Doom, where he carved out his existence by drawing the local landscapes around him it wasn’t until the destruction of ‘that’ ring’
Nowadays he is an awesome designer, currently finishing off his a book, with an avid fan base.

This week’s designer is someone is lives not too far from me in a neighbouring city with the UK. I first came across Gordon B Designs through his cool Anchorman design, as I am a massive fan of the movie!.
His designs are cool and with his own spin on pop culture, making him a designer that I think is original in an over crowded field of t shirt brands and designers.

Timothy Lim AKA Ninjaink Gets Unlocked

Welcome to the Geek Shirts HQ Designer Unlocked Interview Series where we put the best independent designers under the spotlight. This week’s special guest is Timothy Lim better known as Ninjaink.

Timothy Lim AKA Ninjaink has been published in PSM, Dreamwave and Image Comics. His lists of accolades are just awesome. He was voted Comics2films Best Illustrator 2005 and 2006. Tim was selected to do illustrations for the Transformers newsletter. Most recently he was the Artist Guest of Honour at Vision Con 20 in 2012.
